Our sound is kind of a combination of everything.
— Drew Porter "Greenville’s REdEFIND puts a new polish on nu-metal"

Redefind was formed in 2012 by drummer Dustan Snow and bassist Drew Porter with hopes to bring a new and invigorated sound to the scene by creating a mix of hip hop influenced nu metal and with a modern sound. Vocalist B Knappy was brought into the band in 2015 bringing along a style that includes raw passionate screams and singing with a style of speed rapping influenced by the likes of Tech N9ne.  With Drucifer rounding out the lineup at the start of 2016 Redefind began playing regularly both locally and regionally. In December 2016 Redefind released their first EP “Raw” along with the music video for “Suplex City.”

After playing shows to support the EP and lead single, DJ B.L. was brought into the band on turntables and percussion to add a new dynamic and fill the sound for the band. Redefind is currently a regional act performing primarily in the South Eastern US with hopes to expand across the country. Redefind is currently working on and planning to record their 2nd EP to be released at the start of 2018.

Redefind has shared the stage with national performing acts such as Saliva, The Bunny The Bear, Mushroomhead, Hed pe, Avatar, Butcher Babies, 36 Crazyfists, Trapt, Jeffery Nothing of Mushroomhed, Primer 55, Otep, Straight Line Stitch, Gemini Syndrome, BONZ, Super bob, Saint Diablo, Almost Kings, The Chimpz.
